Coverage overview
Stuart carries three coverage ZIP codes, 34994, 34996 and 34997. Inside the city we have separate pages for the Downtown Stuart Historic District and the East Stuart Historic District, because the buildings and the rodent pressure differ between them.
Palm City, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound are unincorporated communities, which the Census Bureau calls census-designated places. They share Martin County with Stuart and are governed by the Board of County Commissioners rather than a town council. Jensen Beach has an odd footnote, since it was briefly incorporated as Jensen in 1926 and dissolved by the state in 1933.
Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce are different. Both are incorporated cities in St. Lucie County, the neighboring county to the north. Fort Pierce was incorporated in 1901 and is the St. Lucie County seat, while Port Saint Lucie was incorporated in 1961 and is one of the most populous cities in Florida.
Port Saint Lucie is large, so we list only its ZIP codes that fall inside about 15 miles of Stuart. Addresses in ZIP codes beyond that range are outside our confirmed coverage.
